Anne’s Salsa
All the credit for this DELICIOUS recipe goes to the wonderful Anne, who has made this for me on more than one occasion. From the first try it was instantly a favourite of mine.
Serves 2 very hungry people – 4
slightly peckish people
2 ripe avocados
Juice of 1.5 lemons
1 large ripe tomato (or a handful
of plum tomatoes)*
Handful of fresh chopped
coriander
Sprinkle of paprika
1 tsp Tabasco
A small drizzle of honey or a 1
level tsp brown sugar
Salt to taste
Serve with fresh rye/granary
bread, a cold beverage and great company!
For all you meat lovers this is delicious when served along side roast chicken.
And for a fresh, zesty alternative you can substitute the tomato with half a peeled cucumber.

*Do not under any circumstances
use tinned chopped tomatoes or bottled lemon juice, you will miss out on all
the fresh flavours combining to make a taste extravaganza!
